Howit works

Using Increable is really very simple both for clients and designers. The whole process involves 3 basic steps:

Step 1.

Clients wishing to publish a design contest can simply press the “start a contest” button on the home page to start describing the design they need. The client can choose to attach any supporting files (e.g. pictures, old logos) that might be useful to the designers and even specify the format they require the design in. The client then chooses the prize amount they want to offer the winning design and the duration of the contest. The default duration is 2 weeks and you can expect to receive about 40 designs. The prize amount is pre-paid and held with Increable from the beginning of the contest. This provides peace of mind to designers that the contest is genuine and reassures the client the prize money will only be sent to the winning designer once the client selects a winner and receives the winning design files correctly. The design files are supplied together with our standard contract in which the designer transfers the rights of the design to the client. It is worth noting contests run on Increable are hugely successful but even in the unlikely event a client does not choose a winner, the client can have their prize money refunded with out any hassle.

Step 2.

Once contests are published on Increable.com, they become visible to designers from lots of different countries. Designers can start working on and submitting designs for the client to review. The client should provide feedback on the designs submitted during the contest as this helps achieve the ideal design. The client can choose a winner at any time but it is best to wait until the competition has ended. If the competition ends and the client cannot decide on a winning design, they can extended the contest by a few more days to review some more proposals.

Step 3.

As soon as the client selects the winning design, the designer can transfer the winning design files to the client. The file transfer facility is provided on Increable, where designers upload the winning design files and where the client approves the files are correct. This is also where both the client and designer receive a copy of the agreement transferring the rights of the design from the customer to the designer. Finally, once the client approves the files, the designer is simply sent the prize money by Increable via a bank transfer or PayPal.
